Inhand a platform that integrates product trial & sampling into your marketing channels. The brand was born as a platform that delivers free samples from your favourite brands straight to your doorstep.

Concept

Inhand's platform uses cutting-edge technology to facilitate product sampling across all channels, from traditional advertising channels like broadcast and out-of-home to modern digital and social media platforms. By leveraging our integrated, end-to-end sampling platform, we were able to bridge the gap between the brand messaging and product trials and help convert advertising and communications into tangible product experiences that boosted sales.

Main tasks

The team collaborated to develop a platform that connects brand messaging and product trials. As the project lead, I developed the project vision, created the brand and design, and designed an intuitive user interface. The result was a comprehensive platform that successfully launched and achieved its goals.

Wireframes

During the design process, meticulous attention was paid to ensuring that the platform was both highly functional and engaging for the end user. The wireframes, for instance, were carefully designed to establish the structure and architecture of the information before proceeding to the visual and interactive elements.

The colour palette used in the project was carefully selected to align with the brand's guidelines and overall messaging. With a focus on creating a playful and inviting tone, shades of purple and green were chosen to complement and accentuate the brand's youthful and remarkable qualities. These colors were used strategically throughout the design to add visual interest and break up white space.

In addition to the color palette, the illustrations used in the project were adapted to the brand's style, with the colour palette consisting primarily of variations of purple, green, and yellow. These colors were chosen to ensure that the illustrations were consistent with the brand's overall tone and messaging, while also adding depth and dimension to the design. Overall, the colour choices and use of illustrations were critical elements in creating a cohesive and engaging brand experience for the end user.


Learnings

The successful launch of the platform was the result of the team efforts in building the project vision, developing the brand and design, and creating an intuitive user interface and experience. Collaboration with Inhand, leveraging their expertise in these areas, proved instrumental in achieving the startup's goals.

The experience of designing the product was particularly enriching, providing an opportunity to work with front-end developers and the team, as well as to test flows with a diverse group of users. The project not only enabled me to gain valuable experience, but also to make a meaningful contribution to the startup's success.
